We're on the lookout for a dynamic and visionary Senior Director of Development & Community Programs to fuel our mission and deepen our impact.     What You'll Do:

    As our Senior Director, you'll be the architect of our fundraising future and a champion for our vital community programs. You'll:

    • Inspire Generosity: Craft and implement innovative fundraising strategies that resonate with donors who believe in the power of our community.
    • Cultivate Meaningful Relationships: Forge deep connections with individuals, businesses, and foundations, turning them into passionate partners in our work.
    • Unlock Grant Opportunities: Collaborate with our talented Grant Writer to identify and secure funding that amplifies our impact.
    • Lead with Vision: Oversee our Development Manager and guide our impactful community programs, including our English as a Second Language (ESL) Program and our nurturing Pathways Women Cancer Support program.
    • Be a Data Dynamo: Manage our donor database with precision, ensuring every contribution makes a difference.
    • Collaborate and Empower: Work closely with our Executive Director, Board of Directors, and dedicated volunteers to build a thriving and sustainable organization.
    • Champion Our Mission: Ensure all fundraising and communication efforts authentically reflect the heart and soul of The Connection and align with our Strategic Plan.

    What You Bring:

    • A contagious enthusiasm for our mission and the communities we serve.
    • A proven track record (minimum 5 years) in LEADING fundraising, development, or a related field, with experience in cultivating major gifts.
    • Exceptional communication, public speaking, and relationship-building superpowers.
    • Experience leading, mentoring and growing a team.
    • Strategic thinking and a knack for turning ideas into impactful action.
    • Experience collaborating effectively with boards, donors, and volunteers.
    • Tech-savviness, including proficiency in donor management software and Google Suite.
    • Bonus points for local area involvement and a passion for community-based work!

    • Compensation: Commensurate with experience and appropriate for a non-profit organization that is our size and scope. Estimated Range $80,000-$100,000.
