    Reports to: Rainier Beach: A Beautiful Safe Place for Youth Project Manager

    Type: Part-time (no more than 30 hours a week), non-exempt, contract ends 12/31/2025. Funding for this position in 2026 is contingent upon contract award(s) and/or other fundraising accomplishments.

    Essential Job Functions:

    • Project-Planning: Create, maintain, and update agenda’s, invoices, reports, and monitor team progress, coordinate tasks among team members, as well as support team member and stakeholder engagement during a project.
    • Data Evaluation: Assist Project Manager in monitoring, manage, and track progress of non-arrest interventions. Work alongside RB:ABSPY Core Team to provide data support and resources to community partners.
    • Support Communications: Create, maintain, transcribe, review, and present a variety of materials and products that integrate data (such as blogs, infographics, presentations, workshop, and marketing materials, as well as social media and website content). This role requires a strong attention to detail to ensure that final content adheres to RB ABSPY values, style guide, and quality assurance standards.
    • Support Contract Management and Compliance: Prepare and manage contracts and sub-consultant MOU’s and activities for RB:ABSPY. Ensure that the sub-consultants meet the goals and outcomes established in the agreements and that timely and complete invoices are submitted for reimbursement of the work; Track and manage RB:ABSPY budget.

    Basic Requirements

    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Highly organized and detail oriented.
    • Ability to work empathetically with a wide variety of people from different social and cultural backgrounds.
    • Willingness to learn and take feedback.
    • Self-starter who can work independently as well as collaborate with a team.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
    • This position requires transport of meeting materials and supplies and requires the ability to lift twenty pounds and to navigate uneven surfaces.
    • Work may be required in the evening or on weekends.
    • Undergraduate degree desired but not required.
    • Candidates must undergo a criminal background check; However criminal history will not necessarily preclude employment.
