Since 1981, the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy (Parks Conservancy) has served as the nonprofit partner of the National Park Service, collaborating with the Presidio Trust, partners, donors, and the community to support the Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GGNRA). The GGNRA stretches across three Bay Area counties north and south of the Golden Gate Bridge and includes iconic places such as Muir Woods National Monument, Fort Point National Historic Site, Alcatraz Island, Crissy Field, Mori Point, Lands End, and the Presidio of San Francisco.
The Parks Conservancy engages at the intersection of national park sites, local communities, social justice, and climate resilience. Position Overview:
The Parks Conservancy is looking for a dynamic, multi-talented Videographer & Photographer to capture the visual awe of the national park sites at the Golden Gate and amplify our work to protect and connect more people to these beloved and vital public lands.
This position is for somebody who's passionate about compelling, high-quality imagery and video content, and equally passionate about storytelling. You'll attend park programs and events, listening deeply and connecting with park staff, visitors, and others to craft compelling storylines that capture the Parks Conservancy's impact. You'll craft long-form YouTube videos, photo galleries, and stories, and contribute to our large-format Gateways Magazine.
The ideal candidate has an eye for capturing the moment—your photos and video are bright, colorful, active, and joyful. Please submit work samples with your application.
This is an exempt, full-time, benefitted position. The schedule will be Tuesday through Saturday. The office location for this position is Fort Mason, San Francisco. Work is performed in both an office and outdoor setting.

Salary/Benefits:
The salary for this position is $85,000/year (Grade 16). As part of our equitable hiring practices, The Parks Conservancy will hire at the salary posted for the position and will not make an offer above this level.
