The Senior Manager is responsible for the management of a portfolio of research, tools, and stakeholder engagement in NEEP’s Technology Market Transformation team. The role offers an exciting opportunity to drive the growth of heat pump solutions in a region with ambition, investment, partners and momentum. The portfolio includes developing strategies, managing stakeholder working groups, scoping and overseeing development of resources, managing budgets, and supervising people. If you possess a knack for both independent work and team coordination, you might be just who we're looking for. If you also have a deep interest in nonprofit work and the passion to champion mission-driven vision and values, we'd love to hear from you. You will thrive in NEEP’s collaborative and fast-paced work environment and will respect and uphold our commitment to our mission and our core values.
A Day In The Life Of This Role:
In this role, you will work with a wide array of NEEP stakeholders, including state energy offices, utilities, energy efficiency program administrators, manufacturers, distributors, contractors, consultants, and nonprofit organizations across the region to facilitate technology market transformation for buildings and industry. Priority topics currently include cold-climate heat pumps for space heating and cooling, high-efficiency water heating, advanced windows, building envelope measures, and more. The Senior Manager will convene and coordinate activity across regional stakeholders and experts through working groups and advisory committees, promote NEEP’s popular cold-climate heat pump product list, scope and develop tools and resources, and publish high-quality research on a range of topics including but not limited to energy efficiency, electrification, and grid flexibility in the residential and commercial building and industrial sectors. The Senior Manager will be expected to respect and uphold NEEP’s core values. The Senior Manager reports to the Director, Technology Market Transformation.

The position is exempt and scheduled 40 hours per week although additional hours including evenings and weekends may be required.
