    Description

    The Post Adoption Records & Resources (PARR) Specialist provides administrative support to the Family & Community Support Department, with a focus on supporting the PARR team. The ideal candidate will respond to inquiries and provide administrative support. This individual is someone who can communicate assertively with other department staff and who absorbs information quickly and thoroughly. The Specialist is detail-oriented, will manage competing priorities and provide general support to the team. This is a part-time, 21 hour/week in-person position with a rate of $35/hour.

    • Responsible for overseeing PARR phone line and emails, including documentation and case follow up
    • Provide outside referral information to clients as appropriate
    • Provide program and administrative support related to adoption records and complete data maintenance project
    • Perform intake, preparation and consultation of Personal Adoption History narrative and information sharing for adoptees, birth parents and adoptive parents
    • Perform any other department or agency-related duties or special projects when time is available as directed
    • Strong time management skills, including robust organization, and ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines
    • Strong execution skills, thorough follow-through; and attention to detail
    • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
    • Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently
    • Spanish speaking a plus
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize efficiently to meet goals and deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
    • Ability to make decisions and resolve problems as they arise.
