    Salary Range: $ 62,000- $83,000 - based on relevant experience

    At Jobs to Move America (JMA), we’re looking for a detail-oriented and people-centered Office Manager/Coordinator to help us build strong, equitable internal systems. This is a cross-functional support role that works across departments to ensure our day-to-day office operations are running efficiently and effectively.

    Note: This is an office-based operations role, not related to manufacturing or industrial logistics. We're looking for experience in administrative coordination, nonprofit operations, or organizational support in a professional office setting.

    About the Role - What You’ll Be Responsible For

    Office & Administrative Support

    • Coordinate scheduling, vendor management, and general project support for directors and team members.
    • Assist with onboarding logistics for new hires: setting up accounts, equipment, and workspaces.
    • Maintain up-to-date organizational records (e.g., contracts, staff directories, filing systems).
    • Support the implementation of new office procedures and help improve existing workflows.

    Project & Event Help:

    • Help plan and execute internal events, meetings, and trainings, including managing logistics, booking travel, and coordinating venues.
    • Provide general support for cross-team initiatives and special projects as assigned.

    Finance & Vendor Support

    • Track operational expenses and process payment documentation, reimbursements, and check requests.
    • Communicate with vendors about billing and invoicing, and ensure accurate recordkeeping.

    What We’re Looking For ─ Key Qualifications

    • Minimal 4+ years of experience in an administrative office management role, preferably in nonprofit or mission-driven environments. We welcome candidates with non-traditional career paths.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills are required to juggle multiple projects and still meet deadlines.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills, and you collaborate well across teams and with outside partners.
    • Commitment to equity, inclusion, and accessibility, you believe in fostering a workplace that values diverse perspectives.
    • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Excel, Adobe, and comfort with learning new systems and project management tools.

    Other Physical Requirements:

    • This is an in-person full-time job based in Birmingham, AL
    • Must be able to lift supplies to 25 lbs (e.g., campaign supplies, documents).
    • Occasional travel to support the team or events. Capacity to adapt to different working environments, including office settings and campaign sites.
