About ABC: The Association to Benefit Children (ABC) is dedicated to ensuring that every child has a joyful, healthy, and safe life through compassionate and innovative programs since 1986.
Join our team: Fast Break Plus is ABC's home and community-based therapy program. We serve children and youth up to age 21 with symptoms impacting their ability to reach treatment in a traditional clinical setting. Clients are based in Manhattan and the Bronx.
Fast Break Plus is looking to hire a fee-for-service therapist to join our growing team, specifically to offer support to kids within Manhattan and/or the South Bronx, both in home and community locations. This is an excellent opportunity for creative and motivated therapists who are passionate about working with children and families to gain experience and develop deeper clinical skills.
What we are looking for (Skills, Education and Requirements):
- LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LCAT (MSW with limited permit also acceptable)
- Commitment to social justice and equity through mental healthcare
- Willingness to go to clients' homes and schools
- Experience working with children/families
- Responsive and effective communicator
- Fluency in Spanish preferred but not required
What you’ll be doing:
- Minimum load of 3-5 clients
- Provide psychotherapy and play/creative arts therapy
- Collateral work with caregivers to support treatment plan goals and parenting
- Maintain accurate client charts which include documentation of sessions and timely formulation of treatment plans
Schedule:
- Day and/or evening hours
- Monday to Saturday options

Salary/Compensation:
- Competitive rates $60 - $70 per session (not hour!)
- $20 add on rate for sessions conducted in client's home/community space
- Add on rates for evaluations and or sessions conducted in another language.
