    Description

    National Cathedral School seeks a full-time athletic trainer beginning August 11, 2025. The successful candidate can expect to perform the duties of an athletic trainer for grades 4-12. Duties would include but are not limited to: immediate care, clinical evaluations and diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation along with sideline injury care and game day coverage. Candidates with strong written and verbal skills will be considered. The position is a 10-month staff position. The typical hours are 9:30 am-6:00 pm with later hours on competition days approximately ending at 7pm. Weekend work is limited per season.

    NCS is looking for an experienced athletic trainer to make sound decisions under pressure as well as an enthusiastic and positive candidate who likes working with children, coaches, and families. The athletic trainer would work closely with the school nurse, coaches, and athletic director. The athletic trainer would help to review health forms on a daily basis and would be responsible for concussion treatment plans and care.
