About the Organization:
Wallingford Childcare Center is a unique family-oriented community that has served the Wallingford area since 1968!. We are proud to offer low student-to-teacher ratios, great benefits, and a collaborative and supportive community of educators and families. We care for children from 6 weeks to 5 years old.
Our curriculum is based on Resources for Infant Educators (RIE) philosophy for our infants and young toddlers. We support our toddler through Pre-K children's learning through an emergent curriculum that reflects student interests and curiosity with influences from the Reggio Emilia philosophy.
We understand that for adults to be full-time caregivers, they need to receive the same things that we expect them to give the children–respect, empathy, and kindness. We are proud to offer low ratios, great benefits, and a supportive and inclusive work environment for staff. Concurrently, we are looking to hire an administrative assistant whose mission aligns strongly with that of WCCC.
