    Job Profile: Preschool Teacher

    Job Description:

    We are seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic preschool teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for working with young children, fostering their development, and creating a positive learning environment.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
    2. Create a nurturing and supportive classroom atmosphere where children feel safe, valued, and engaged.
    3. Foster positive relationships with young learners, parents, and fellow staff members.
    4. Encourage creativity, exploration, and curiosity through hands-on learning experiences.
    5. Observe and assess children's progress and provide feedback to parents and caregivers.
    6. Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment conducive to learning and play.
    7. Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate curriculum activities and special events.
    8. Communicate effectively with parents about children's daily activities, progress, and any concerns.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or a related field preferred.
    • Experience working with young children in a preschool or early childhood setting (experience teaching using a Montessori-based curriculum is preferred).
    • Passion for and understanding of early childhood development principles.
    • Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual children.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Creativity and enthusiasm for designing engaging and educational activities.
    • Commitment to creating a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment.
    • Commitment for the academic year.
    • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
