    Description

    PURPOSE

    The Director of Finance (DOF) is responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of JACCC’s financial and management accounting practices in accordance with GAAP and industry best practices. As the organization’s senior accounting subject matter expert, the DOF oversees day-to-day financial operations, ensures strong internal controls, and contributes to long-term financial planning.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Lead the timely and accurate recording of all accounting transactions.
    • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
    • Manage the annual financial audit and preparation of the annual Form 990.
    • Oversee development, implementation, and monitoring of the annual organizational budget.
    • Prepare internal financial reports, grant reports, tax filings, and regulatory submissions.
    • Supervise internal and external accounting functions, including staff, outsourced services, and financial systems.
    • Ensure full integration and reconciliation between billing/ticketing platforms and the general ledger.
    • Maintain compliance with internal policies and external reporting requirements.
    • Perform other duties aligned with the scope and responsibilities of the role.
