    CEID is hiring for an experienced Director of Development to lead and implement the agency fundraising plan to exceed goals. We are seeking a leader driven by positive interactions and results who enjoys creative, resourceful, and collaborative work toward successful outcomes. The right candidate is passionate about fundraising and has the skills to lead, create, and implement robust and successful fundraising strategies. CEID is a 501c3 nonprofit organization with an annual budget of approximately $2.2 million.

    RESPONSIBLITIES

    The Director of Development is responsible for organizing and directing all CEID’s fundraising efforts including: the major gifts program, annual fund, planned giving, special events and special campaigns. The Director of Development reports to the CEO, is a contributing member of the agency Leadership Team and works closely with Development Associate, Grant Writer, and members of the Board of Directors to meet agency fundraising goals.

    The Development Director will sustain and execute the agency fundraising plan and goals by identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and obtaining funding from major individual donors; research and identifying new business and community prospects for board membership and/or connections for the agency; and expand organization’s visibility in the community through networking, public appearances/speaking engagements and cultivating marketing opportunities.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    The role is best fit for an individual with 5+ years of experience in Non-profit Fundraising Management, with a strong track record of successful fundraising for Education and/or Healthcare organizations, including experience with various funding sources such as major gifts, foundation giving, and special events.

    Strong communication skills with internal and external constituencies and excellent leadership and management skills are required for this role. Proficiency of fundraising software and databases such as Salesforce, Levitate, Canva, Social Media Platforms, and Microsoft Office are highly desired.

    ABOUT CEID

    CEID maximizes communication potential for individuals of all ages through education, family support and audiology programs. Our team works closely with educators, service and medical providers, parents and community members to ensure educational growth for young children aged 0-5 who are deaf and hard of hearing, have language delays, or other needs; and with individuals of all ages by providing both adult and pediatric audiology services.     COMPENSATION:

    This is a full-time, exempt position. Salary is commensurate with experience with a range of $85,000-$100,000 per annum. Generous benefits package includes health, dental, paid vacation, sick and personal time, and access to a 401(k) and Flexible Spending Account after initial waiting period.
