Position Overview:
The Vice President of Health Justice is a member of the organization’s executive leadership and leads a team of policy experts, researchers, legal analysts, government relations specialists and coalition managers collectively focused on building a health care system that works for women. The health justice team’s current focus includes protecting and preserving the Affordable Care Act; comprehensive health care access and coverage (public and private, including Medicaid and Medicare); maternal health and disparities in mortality and morbidity, particularly among women of color; digital health/health IT; health care transformation (payment, delivery, equity, patient-centeredness and culturally appropriate care), and the intersection of all these issues with reproductive health, economic, and social justice policies.

This position is responsible for directly managing the Managing Director, Director of Maternal Health, Director of Health Systems Transformation, and Director of Policy and leads the Health Justice department.
Classification
The National Partnership recognizes a staff bargaining unit, National Partnership United, affiliated with the Nonprofit Professional Employees Union/IFPTE Local 70, a union for non-profit workers. This position is NOT included in the NP United bargaining unit. Specific employment terms are subject to collective bargaining. The first 6 months of employment are a probationary period.
Salary and Benefits
The salary range for this role is $193,396 – $231,664 with the exact salary determined by years of relevant experience, in alignment with NPWF’s compensation setting criteria.
