    Description

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Lead & facilitate a class of up to 20 elementary aged students focused on STEM+ Art lessons.
    • Supervise students throughout the building ensuring a safe and productive environment.
    • Promote engagement by assisting students with projects and participating in activities.
    • Monitor student behavior and support learning through positive classroom management.
    • Attend required training and check-ins, maintain attendance records, and administer post-survey data.

    PREFERRED SKILLS:

    • Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds, including, but not limited to Title I schools where

    there is a familiarity with the unique challenges and needs of this population.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • Must be able to commit to the full summer schedule - substitutes are not readily available.
    • Must be able to pass a background check and/or fingerprinting.
    • Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs; perform loading and unloading of equipment between

    sites.

    • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs.

    This is a part-time, W2 contingent staff position. Benefits are not available.
