    Position Overview

    OIC of America is at a transformative moment, building on a legacy of impact while expanding its reach and sustainability. We seek a Development Associate to support and execute key fundraising initiatives that advance our mission. This team member will play an important role in donor engagement, fundraising operations, and event coordination while gaining valuable experience in nonprofit development. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and proactive professional who is passionate about nonprofit fundraising, relationship-building, and making a meaningful impact. The Development Associate must be a strong communicator, an organized project manager, and a collaborative team player who thrives in adynamic, mission-driven environment.

    Fundraising Support & Execution

    • Support the implementation of OIC of America’s fundraising strategy by assisting with donor outreach, campaign coordination, and data management.
    • Help maintain fundraising infrastructure by organizing donor records, tracking contributions, and ensuring efficient development processes.
    • Assist in managing various fundraising initiatives, including individual giving, corporate sponsorships, foundation grants, and special events, by providing administrative and logistical support.

    Donor Engagement & Relationship Management

    • Support donor engagement efforts by assisting with donor communications, drafting thank-you letters, acknowledgments, and stewardship activities to foster long-term relationships.
    • Help coordinate donor meetings, events, and engagement opportunities to strengthen connections with individual and institutional supporters.
    • Assist in preparing materials, presentations, and impact reports that effectively communicate OIC of America’s mission and funding needs to donors and stakeholders.

    Grant & Institutional Fundraising

    • Research potential grant opportunities and funding sources to support OIC of America’s programs.
    • Assist in compiling data and supporting materials for grant proposals and reports.
    • Maintain a calendar of grant deadlines and reporting requirements to ensure timely submissions.

    Administrative & Development Operations

    • Provide administrative support to the development team, including scheduling meetings and maintaining donor files.
    • Assist in tracking budgets and expenses related to fundraising events and donor stewardship.
    • Collaborate with the Communications team to support donor communications, newsletters, and fundraising materials.
