About Food Connect
Food Connect is a nonprofit organization dedicated to bridging the gaps in our food system to build healthier communities. We use technology and community partnerships to increase efficiency, collaboration, and impact in food distribution. From local deliveries to regional food rescue initiatives, we’re building a system where surplus food meets need—fast, equitably, and with care.
The Role
We’re looking for a full-time Program Success Coordinator to join our national logistics team and support day-to-day operations across multiple markets. This role ensures real-time coordination between dispatchers, drivers, and regional program staff, with a key focus on delivery execution, issue resolution, and experience improvement for both our drivers and community partners.
The Program Success Coordinator will report directly to the Program Success Manager, working closely with them to monitor and resolve program and driver bottlenecks. The role will involve regular attendance at program meetings, community events, and partner site visits, as well as supporting Regional Directors through tactical follow-through on action items.
Key Responsibilities
Driver Communication & Live Support
- Monitor real-time delivery activity across all active markets
- Act as the first point of contact for driver questions, rerouting, or delivery issues
- Resolve live escalations or coordinate with Program Success Admins and Program Success Manager as needed
- Maintain calm and clear communication under pressure
- Ensure driver updates are logged and follow-up actions are tracked
Operational Coordination
- Coordinate with dispatchers to ensure route completion and accuracy
- Update and manage tracking systems and operational records
- Flag recurring issues or process gaps to the Ops Manager
- Contribute to driver onboarding, training materials, and process improvement
- Support daily operations workflows and weekly reporting
Quality & Experience
- Follow up on missed deliveries or incomplete routes
- Gather informal feedback from drivers and escalate key insights
- Troubleshoot logistics issues affecting partner service quality
- Assist in updating SOPs and supporting quality control
Team & Collaboration
- Work in close partnership with the Program Success Manager to address driver and program bottlenecks
- Attend regular program meetings, partner site visits, and community events
- Support Regional Directors by owning tactical follow-through and execution
Candidate Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in logistics, customer service, dispatch, or driver operations preferred
- Strong communication, coordination, and multitasking abilities
- Ability to stay calm and think quickly in time-sensitive situations
- Familiar with Slack, Google Suite, Asana, or similar tools
Detail-oriented with strong documentation habits
