5 Steps to Five is a nonprofit parenting program. Parents and their infants meet weekly in groups with trained facilitators, who model ways of interacting with the babies to build cognitive, verbal, emotional, and social skills. The goal is to prepare these children for school by using the Five Steps: Nurture, Talk, Play, Read, and Explore.
The 5 Steps to Five Program Manager manages a staff of fifteen teachers and family workers, overseeing the proper implementation of our evidence-based curriculum during weekly program sessions. They provide a safe, constructive, and enjoyable experience for both staff and participating families. This is a year-round program, with classes conducted in Spanish.
Key Responsibilities:
Must be present at the program site every Saturday from 8:00 am to 11:30 am to lead staff meetings and oversee the program.
