Position Overview
The Logan School for Creative Learning is accepting applications for a Primary level Lead Teacher opening starting August 1, 2025. This teacher will work with an Associate Teacher and the school’s other educators to provide a Logan educational experience for approximately 15-18 students in a mixed-age classroom that will consist of students in Kindergarten and 1st grades. Responsibilities include developing an individualized curriculum for each student and leading one overnight trip in the spring.
The ideal candidate will hold an earned college degree and will be an experienced teacher. Candidates should be familiar with the needs of gifted students and have a strong understanding of child-centered education and the value of hands-on learning activities.

Status
This is a full-time (10-month) position during the school year. Salary is paid over 12 months August-July. This position receives full benefits.
Supervisor
The Primary Lead Teacher reports directly to the Director of Primary/LIS.
Hours
The Logan School work day is 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Attendance is required at all-staff meetings until 5:00 PM at least once per week. There will be occasional evening and weekend commitments at which attendance is required.

The salary (paid in equal 12-month installments) for this position is $55,000 - $85,000 for a 10-month work period. The salary depends on experience in the teaching field. Benefits offered include employer-paid health insurance, paid time off, retirement plan matching contributions, and a flexible benefits program.
