About Us
VSMC is a nonprofit with the mission of helping older residents of San Mateo County to continue living safe and fulfilling lives in their own homes.
VSMC is the umbrella organization that currently supports three local Villages: Sequoia Village, Mid-Peninsula Village, and Village of the Coastside.
VSMC and the local Villages provide direct services for members such as transportation, technology assistance and minor home repairs, primarily through volunteers. In addition, we organize activities outside the home, such as trips to cultural facilities, lectures and social events.
