    WHAT IT IS:

Join us for LIVE WELL, hosted by the American Parkinson Disease Association NW Chapter! This 1-day event brings together local & national Parkinson's medical experts, support services providers, & those impacted by Parkinson disease. Includes the latest in Parkinson's research, lifestyle/wellness resources, & features a Q & A with the panel of experts.

    WHY?:

This event brings together people impacted by Parkinson's, expert clinicians, services providers, APDA resources, & others in the local Parkinson's community (including other care partners!).

    WHY YOUR HELP IS NEEDED:

Volunteers are needed to help set & clear event materials (light physical activity), check-in attendees, share microphones in audience during the Q&A, & usher attendees to seats & lunch.

    WHEN?:

Shifts are available June 10th from 8:30 am - 1:30 pm, 12 pm- 5 pm, or join us all day. A free catered lunch, beverages & on-site parking are provided to volunteers.

    OTHER INFO:

We are happy to "sign-off" on most volunteer hours forms (students, workplace volunteer programs, nonprofit orgs, etc.) - please let us know if you'll need sign-off when you replying to this post.

Volunteers should be 18+ years of age, or accompanied by a responsible adult/guardian. Please contact us if you are a minor (or young adult group) who would like to volunteer, but will not have an adult with you.

Event is open to attendees 10 AM - 4 PM, June 10th, 2025 at the JUMP Center (Jack's Urban Meeting Place - 1000 W Myrtle St) in Downtown Boise.

Parking is available on-site (APDA will cover your parking cost during the event).
