    Description

Street Storyteller & On-Camera Content Creator

    About the Role

Creshendo is looking for an energetic, creative, and outgoing content creator to lead a new street storytelling video series. This person will be the on-camera face of our campaign—engaging with strangers in public spaces, asking powerful and personal questions, and capturing real-time responses on video. From filming and editing to publishing short-form content, you’ll help bring raw human stories to life on platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels.

This is a highly visible role designed for someone who thrives in the spotlight and has a passion for amplifying real voices through bold, compassionate storytelling.

    What you’ll do:

    • Serve as the on-camera lead for a public storytelling video series
    • Approach and interview people in public spaces using thoughtful, human-centered prompts
    • Film and edit short-form videos for social media (TikTok, Instagram Reels)
    • Monitor trends to inform content style, captions, and hooks
    • Collaborate with the Storytelling and Communications teams to ensure consistent tone and messaging
    • Build content that connects diverse audiences to migrant and refugee experiences in relatable ways

    What we’re looking for:

    • Outgoing personality and strong on-camera presence
    • Comfortable engaging strangers and initiating conversation
    • Familiarity with mobile-first editing tools like CapCut or InShot
    • Understanding of TikTok and Instagram content trends and best practices
    • Deep empathy and ability to conduct respectful, inclusive interviews
    • Experience with video journalism, street interviews, or live content (preferred)
    • Background in social media strategy or public storytelling (preferred)
    • Commitment to ethical storytelling and uplifting underrepresented voices (preferred)

    Time Commitment

    • 5–10 hours/week (flexible)
    • Fully remote with local fieldwork
    • Creative freedom and featured credit on Creshendo platforms
    • Opportunity to shape the public face of an international storytelling campaign
    • Join a team of global creators and mission-driven changemakers

How This Role Contributes to Creshendo’s Mission

Creshendo exists to center refugee and migrant voices in every medium. This role turns streets into story platforms—capturing raw, honest reflections that cut across borders. By making these moments visible, you’ll help shift dominant narratives and inspire public empathy in a way that’s powerful, human, and real.

    Application Process

Send a short message to info@creshendo.org and copy klara@creshendo.org about why this role excites you. Feel free to include TikToks, Reels, or video clips that showcase your style or presence. No resume required—we’re looking for curiosity, confidence, and creativity. Please include your time zone, general availability.

Creshendo welcomes volunteers from all backgrounds.
