    Description

Street Storyteller & TikTok Creator / Influencer

    About the Role

Are you the kind of person who can light up a conversation with a stranger? Do you love TikTok and want to use your creativity for a cause that matters? Creshendo is looking for a bold, outgoing content creator to be the face of our new street storytelling series—where migration meets modern media.

You’ll walk up to people in real life and ask powerful questions about identity, culture, and belonging, and film their honest, unscripted responses. Then you’ll turn that footage into TikToks and Reels that move people—visually, emotionally, and virally.

This is your chance to become an on-camera voice for something bigger: a global movement sharing human stories that often go unheard!

    What You’ll Do

    • Be the on-camera host of our street storytelling series
    • Interview people in your community (with a focus on migrants, immigrants, and BIPOC voices)
    • Film and edit short-form video content for TikTok and Instagram
    • Spot and apply trending TikTok hooks, captions, and styles
    • Create content that’s punchy, emotional, and deeply human
    • Collaborate with our Storytelling and Comms team to align with our voice and mission

    What We’re Looking For

    • Charisma, confidence, and a love for storytelling
    • Comfortable interviewing strangers in public spaces
    • Strong presence on camera (no need to be famous—just real and engaging)
    • Experience using TikTok tools like CapCut, InShot, or native platform editors
    • Understanding of what goes viral—and what makes people feel seen
    • Passion for uplifting immigrant and refugee stories
    • Respectful, ethical approach to people and content creation
    • Bonus: background in journalism, social media strategy, or video blogging

    Time Commitment & Benefits

    • 5–10 hours per week (flexible, project-based)
    • Fieldwork conducted locally in your city or neighborhood
    • Full creative freedom + featured credit on Creshendo’s platforms
    • Boost your portfolio while making real social impact
    • Join a team of global creatives working at the intersection of storytelling and justice

How This Role Contributes to Creshendo’s Mission

Creshendo uses storytelling to shift how the world sees migration. This role brings that mission to life—literally on the street. By capturing real conversations and creating relatable, powerful content, you’ll help people connect across cultures and challenge stereotypes, one TikTok at a time.

    Application Process

Send a short message to info@creshendo.org and copy klara@creshendo.org telling us why this excites you. Share a few TikToks or Reels that show your vibe and video style. No resume needed—we care more about your curiosity, energy, and eye for storytelling. Please include your time zone and general availability.

Creshendo welcomes volunteers from all backgrounds, especially BIPOC, LGBTQ+, immigrant, and refugee storytellers.
