    Uwezo Pamoja is dedicated to strengthening our community in Nanyuki through sustainable education initiatives. We believe that access to quality education is crucial for empowering individuals and fostering positive change. We invite passionate and dedicated volunteers to join our team and make a lasting impact on the lives of children and youth in our community.

    Your Role:

    As a teaching volunteer with Uwezo Pamoja, you'll play a vital role in supporting local schools and community learning centers. You'll work alongside experienced educators to provide engaging and effective learning experiences. Your contributions will help to improve literacy rates, enhance academic performance, and inspire a love of learning.

    Volunteer Activities:

    • Classroom Support: Assist teachers with lesson delivery, provide individual or small-group tutoring, and help create a supportive learning environment.
    • Literacy and Numeracy Programs: Lead or assist with literacy and numeracy programs, focusing on foundational skills development.
    • Extracurricular Activities: Organize and lead extracurricular activities such as arts and crafts, sports, or music, promoting creativity and teamwork.
    • Mentoring and Guidance: Serve as a positive role model and mentor, providing guidance and support to students.
    • Community Workshops: Assist in organizing and facilitating community workshops on educational topics.
    • Resource Development: Help create and gather educational resources.
