    About MESH Events:

    MESH Events is a newsletter dedicated to promoting free and low-cost events and resources on Mental, Emotional, and Social Health (MESH). We aim to build a platform where people can find and access wellness events and resources, whether in-person or online. Our goal is to connect wellness facilitators to disenfranchised communities and raise awareness about the importance of community events to overall personal and societal health, all while allowing people to find community and support at any stage of life.

    Position Overview:

    MESH Events is seeking passionate and detail-oriented Research and Data Entry Assistants to help us build a comprehensive directory of wellness event hosts and service providers across the United States, areas of the UK, and Canada. This is a remote volunteer position that provides the opportunity to contribute to increasing access to mental, emotional, and social health resources for communities in need.

    As a Research and Data Entry Assistant, you will be assigned state(s) where you will conduct internet-based research to find potential wellness partners that host events and provide in-community services. We are looking for partners across the seven sectors of health- mental health, emotional health, social health, spiritual health, physical health, community health, and environmental health. Your efforts will directly support MESH Events’ mission of supporting personal and community health.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Research and identify 500+ wellness event hosts and business directory partners in each assigned state.
      • Event hosts: Workshops, courses, trainings, conferences, webinars, support groups, and programs that focus on the seven health sectors.
      • Wellness service providers: Gyms, mental health clinics, non-profits, bookstores, meditation centers, holistic care centers, etc.
    • Utilize Google, Eventbrite, Meetup, Allevents, Facebook, Instagram, and other social platforms to find potential partners.
    • Maintain an organized spreadsheet of event hosts and service providers for each state assigned. Accurately enter partner information into the provided spreadsheet, capturing essential details (e.g., name, contact info, services offered, social media links).
    • Collaborate with MESH Events team to ensure data quality and alignment with organizational goals.
    • Contribute to expanding MESH Events’ directory of wellness organizations, helping underserved communities access wellness resources.

    Skills & Qualifications:

    • Strong research and data entry skills, with attention to detail.
    • Proficient in using online search engines and social media platforms for research.
    • Comfortable with Google Sheets to organize data.
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
    • Passion for mental, emotional, and social health and a desire to make wellness resources accessible to all.

    Commitment:

    • The position is ongoing, but a minimum of 5-10 hours per week for 3 months is required
