    Description

Business Development in Decentralized Impact Validation & Related

Do you think that corporate structures are overdue for an overhaul? Would you like to be involved in a diverse, worker governed effort to change corporate structures while doing valuable work in the areas of decentralized trust and reputation?

Our group at Cooperation.org / LinkedTrust.us is starting to get some traction for open source reputation solutions in the areas of

    • worker reputation - think of a decentralized LinkedIn with verified credentials
    • supply chain traceability & ESG - real accountability driven by regulatory pressure
    • impact validation - empowering beneficiaries to attest to philanthropy outcomes
    • sharing ownership and governance using Fairmint smart tokens over future equity

We have contracts with the US Chambers of Commerce Foundation and the Government of British Columbia as well as our own open source work. This supports a global team, creating opportunities and advancing careers of some talented young people in areas where obstacles abound. If we are able to expand on these projects, we can offer more opportunities to people globally who will also share ownership in the organization.

The unifying thread through the different projects is trust, the ability to express and act on trust assertions. We are co-authors on a paper at Rebooting the Web of Trust in the area of Linked Trust.

The goal of this position is to help with business development. This means researching, networking, setting up meetings, building relationships in the ESG & shared governance areas, as well as worker credentialling. It is an excellent role for someone wishing to delve deeper into the space and drive action. It is listed as a volunteer position but if we are successful at landing a contract then funds would be available - its essentially a soft money position with a strong supportive network.
