We’re seeking a detail-oriented Volunteer Bookkeeper/Accountant who shares our

passion for mental health and wants to play a key role in supporting our growth and

sustainability.

-What You'll Do:

-Maintain accurate financial records, including income, expenses, and donations

- Assist with budget tracking, forecasting, and financial reporting

-Reconcile bank transactions and ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting best

practices

- Offer insight on financial processes, controls and improvements as we grow

-Help prepare for audits, grant reporting, and board reviews (mid-term requirement)

What You Need

✔ Prior experience with bookkeeping or nonprofit accounting preferred or completed

not-for-profit accounting courses at a university/college level with strong grades

✔ QuickBooks software knowledge desirable

✔ A strong sense of accuracy, confidentiality, and responsibility

✔ Passion for mental health and community-driven work

✔ Ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote team

✔ A few flexible hours each month to dedicate to financial tasks
