    Description

    We’re looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Volunteer Substitute Teaching Assistants for our after-school program, which teaches science to girls in TK-6th grade. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in education, support young learners, and make a positive impact on the next generation of scientists!

    What You’ll Do:

    • Assist the main teacher in leading engaging science lessons.
    • Support small groups of students with hands-on experiments and activities.
    • Help manage classroom dynamics and encourage active participation.
    • Step in as a substitute teacher when the regular teaching assistant is unavailable.

    Who We’re Looking For:

    • Passionate about working with kids and fostering a love for science.
    • Responsible, reliable, and able to step into a classroom setting with confidence.
    • No formal teaching experience necessary, but a desire to learn and grow is a must!
    • Must be comfortable working with young girls and encouraging their curiosity in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math).
