    Join Dulce Vida Animal Rescue as a Volunteer Foster Coordinator

    About Us:

    Dulce Vida Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving California and Mexico. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome sick, abused, and abandoned dogs and cats. We also provide spay and neuter services through local clinic partnerships and promote responsible pet ownership within our communities.

    Role Summary:

    Foster families are the heart of our rescue efforts—and we need a compassionate, organized Foster Coordinator to support them. In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for our network of foster volunteers, helping to match pets with homes, provide resources, and ensure every foster feels connected and confident. You will:

    • Coordinate the placement of rescued animals into foster homes
    • Maintain regular communication with fosters for updates and support
    • Share resources and best practices for animal care
    • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth transitions and positive experiences
    • Build a supportive and engaged foster community

    What We're Looking For:

    • Strong communication and people skills
    • Passion for animal welfare and rescue work
    • Ability to stay organized and follow up consistently
    • Experience in volunteer coordination, pet fostering, or social work is a plus
