    For the School Year Tutorials, we ask that you prepare to tutor from September through May. For the Summer Program we ask you to serve from Mid-July to early August. We understand that things can change and you may need to make schedule adjustments.

    VOLUNTEER TUTOR POSITION (VIRTUAL AND IN-PERSON)

    We offer you the opportunity to share your knowledge and experience with students who want to learn. Our students are seeking knowledge to excel in their academics. We serve students residing in Houston and surrounding cities virtually.

    Many of the students we serve are diagnosed with learning challenges, live in under-resourced communities, or have financial struggles. They have a unique learning style that you can help develop.

    Primary subjects provided: Math, Reading, and Writing for elementary through high school grades. The high school subjects also include science, language, and other subjects.

    Qualifications:

    • Passion to work with young people
    • Knowledge of the subject
    • Self-starter

    Time Commitment 1-2 hours per session per week (Monday - Thursday, Saturday)

    Our programs are categorized as School Year (September - May), Summer Program (Mid-July through early August)
