Soccer coaching at an Orphanage school in Uganda

An Orphanage school in Uganda is having volunteer opportunities for coaching football/soccer to children between the age of 10 -14 years old. As a volunteer soccer coach for children your main duties will be planning, organizing and conducting practice and game sessions in addition to:-

1. Instructing players of football/soccer rules, strategies and field layouts,
2. Teaching fundamental football/soccer skills through practice sessions and drills,
3. Assessing players' strength and weaknesses during practices and drills,
4. Ensuring players' safety and fitness through football drills,
5. Perform first aid when needed,
6. Keep players active and interested during practices and drills,
7. Provide motivation and advice during game play,
8. Mentor and motivate players to achieve their full potential
9. Teach players good sportsmanship and fair play,
10. Report to the executive director at the orphanage about training schedules and activities,
11. Collaborate with other community coaches and staff.

The training sessions for this program this year 2025 will be starting in June to August.
