    Description

Artists Talk On Art (ATOA) — NYC’s longest-running art forum — is entering an exciting phase of renewal and positive change. We’re looking for a volunteer Programming Curator to start as soon as possible.

If you have a strong background in post-war modern and/or contemporary art, and an interest in critical dialogue between art, art history, and the cultural contexts that shape them, this is a great time to join a legacy nonprofit evolving with the currents of the time.

    Role Responsibilities:

Develop and propose program themes and speakers

Curate weekly or biweekly Zoom-based panels and talks

Coordinate scheduling, outreach, and basic logistics

Collaborate with board members and volunteers

Join Monday night Zoom events (7–8:30 PM ET)

    Ideal Candidate:

    • Deep interest or background in contemporary/modern art
    • Self-sufficient and proactive
    • A strong communicator and team player
    • Excited to contribute to a forward-thinking ATOA
