    Description

    We are seeking a creative and passionate Volunteer Social Media Manager to help elevate our online presence and engage our community. This role is ideal for someone with experience in social media strategy, content creation, and digital marketing who is looking to make a meaningful impact. The Volunteer Social Media Manager will oversee TPRC’s social media accounts, create engaging content, and support outreach efforts to increase awareness and engagement.

    This is a flexible, remote-friendly role requiring approximately 5 hours per week.

    Key Responsibilities

    Content Creation & Management

    • Implement a monthly content calendar aligned with TPRC’s mission and events.
    • Create and schedule engaging posts for Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
    • Ensure content is informative, inclusive, and aligned with the reproductive justice framework.

    Community Engagement & Growth

    • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and interactions in a timely and respectful manner.
    • Engage with followers and relevant community pages to expand outreach.
    • Identify opportunities to collaborate with influencers, partners, and community advocates.

    Analytics & Strategy

    • Track and analyze engagement metrics to refine content strategy.
    • Provide monthly reports on social media performance and growth.
    • Suggest improvements and new approaches to boost engagement.

    Collaboration & Branding

    • Work with the Managing Director and volunteers to align messaging with fundraising campaigns.
    • Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all platforms.
    • Share impact stories, testimonials, and educational content to amplify awareness.

    Qualifications

    • Experience managing social media accounts.
    • Knowledge of social media trends, best practices, and analytics tools.
    • Familiarity with content creation tools like Canva, Adobe Suite, or video editing apps.
    • Excellent writing, storytelling, and communication skills.
    • Passion for reproductive justice and community engagement.
    • Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines.
