    Description

    As our Recruiter, you will be responsible for sourcing, engaging, and onboarding volunteers, ambassadors, and potential collaborators. You will work closely with leadership to identify key talent that aligns with our mission and drive growth within our organization. You are not expected to do all of these. Different recruiters will do different things, depending on which are already being done.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Talent Acquisition & Outreach

    • Identify and recruit volunteers, team members, and collaborators who are passionate about climate action.
    • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract dedicated individuals.
    • Reach out to universities, environmental groups, and networks to promote opportunities.
    • Leverage social media, job boards, and community platforms to find new talent.

    Screening & Selection

    • Review applications and conduct interviews with potential volunteers and team members.
    • Assess candidates based on skills, passion for climate action, and organizational fit.
    • Maintain an organized database of candidates and potential team members.

    Onboarding & Engagement

    • Develop an onboarding process to welcome new volunteers and team members.
    • Ensure that new members feel connected, informed, and supported in their roles.
    • Host welcome calls, orientation sessions, and Q&A sessions for new recruits.

    Community & Relationship Building

    • Build relationships with potential volunteers, partners, and environmental advocates.
    • Work with leadership to identify key roles and team expansion needs.
    • Keep in touch with past applicants and maintain a pipeline of potential recruits.
