Join Dulce Vida Animal Rescue as a Volunteer Social Media Assistant
About Us:
Dulce Vida Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving California and Mexico. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome sick, abused, and abandoned dogs and cats. We also provide spay and neuter services through local clinic partnerships and promote responsible pet ownership within our communities.
Role Summary:
Do you love scrolling through adorable pet photos and have a good eye for visual storytelling? We’re looking for a Social Media Assistant to help us choose and prep the best photos of our rescues for adoption posts. You'll support our team by selecting standout images, making light edits to enhance them, and ensuring our furry friends shine online. You will:
- Review batches of pet photos and pick the best ones for social media
- Make light edits to improve image quality (brightness, color, cropping, etc.)
- Organize and share selected images with our content team
- Collaborate with us via Dropbox or shared albums (iPhone a plus!)
- Help showcase the unique charm of each adoptable pet
What We're Looking For:
- A love for animals and visual content
- A good eye for photo quality, storytelling, and detail
- Basic photo editing skills (using apps or software of your choice)
- Reliable and responsive with strong communication skills
