Brethren House Manager

Washington City Church of the Brethren seeks a Brethren House Manager for its Washington, DC-based intentional community of volunteers! For more than 40 years, Brethren House has provided cooperative living for volunteers serving through Brethren Volunteer Service and other voluntary service organizations. The Brethren House Manager is responsible for fostering a sense of community among the residents, supervising the day to day operations, and being a liaison between Washington City Church of the Brethren and the Brethren House. Brethren House is located in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. House residents are volunteers from across the United States and around the world; they are placed at local and national nonprofits. This position is open to people of all religious identities (including nonreligious) who share our values of peacemaking, social justice, service, and simple living.
