Help a K-4 student unlock literacy skills in (Greater Newark)

Help a K-4 student in your community learn to read!

Reading Partners has been pairing volunteer tutors with elementary students for 25 years to ensure that all kids have the foundational reading skills and confidence they need to be able to read at grade level by fourth grade. Now, we’re expanding to Newark, New Jersey with a brand new opportunity!

Here’s what that looks like: online one-on-one tutoring, once a week, with a structured curriculum. No experience is necessary, and we offer flexible tutoring times that come with live support for volunteers!

Tutoring requirements:

• Reside in New Jersey
• Be 18 years of age
• Commit to a little over an hour a week for at least one semester
• Want to make a positive difference in the life of a student
