    Description

    EmpowHERto partners with black and Latina girls and young women from underserved communities between 14-21, empowering them with the necessary tools to thrive and effect positive systemic change.

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and mission-driven Communications Coordinator to support our outreach efforts and strengthen our connection with key audiences. This role will focus on content creation, marketing coordination, and social media management to ensure our message is clear, engaging, and impactful

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Assist in developing and executing communication strategies to promote our mission.
    • Support media outreach, press releases, and promotional campaigns.
    • Maintain brand consistency across materials and digital platforms.
    • Coordinate event communications and community engagement efforts.
    • Track and report on communication metrics to improve effectiveness.
    • Collaborate with teams to highlight stories and program successes

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
    • Strong writing and editing skills with attention to storytelling.
    • Experience managing social media and digital marketing campaigns.
    • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced nonprofit environment.
    • Passion for advocacy and empowering young girls through communication.
