    Description

Help stop the puppy mill industry from home!

The Stop Puppy Mills Campaign works to end the suffering of mother dogs in puppy mills by exposing their cruel practices and cutting off their sales outlets like puppy-selling pet stores. We use large amounts of data from various sources in our research which supports our policy and public education efforts. By assisting with the gathering and sorting of data, volunteers in this role help further our mission to expose the puppy mill industry for what it really is: cruel and deceptive.

We have an opportunity for volunteers to join our team to:

    • Assist with data collection projects by analyzing, categorizing and labeling files in File Explorer.
    • Research puppy selling pet stores and maintain detailed records in Microsoft Excel.
    • Perform other data entry projects as requested.

    Benefits of volunteering

Volunteers will gain an understanding of the puppy mill to pet store pipeline and how we use data like travel records to support anti-puppy mill legislation. Please see attached position description for additional learning opportunities.
