Social Media and Fundraising Specialist Volunteer
Starlight Scholarship Fund for Girls - Helping immigrant girls shine through scholarships.
We are newly founded nonprofit 501 (c) (3) and our mission is to empower first generation immigrant girls through educational scholarships, fostering academic achievement and personal growth.
We believe that through scholarships, we will enable these young female scholars achieve their academic and career goals. Access to education is a fundamental right, and by supporting these girls, we aim to make higher education more accessible and equitable for underprivileged girls.
We are looking for a Social Media and Fundraising Specialist responsible for developing and executing strategic social media campaigns to contribute to the advancement of our mission as follow:
- Create and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with overall fundraising goals.
- Maintain and update our social media accounts.
- Drive fundraising efforts through identifying target audiences across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Generate compelling content including text, images, and videos highlighting impactful stories, success stories, and donor testimonials.
- Collaborate with the Executive Board to identify and cultivate new donor relationships.
The ideal candidate must have excellent communications skills and highly proficient in the English language.
