    Description

Volunteer React Developer – Help Build a Movement for Family Justice (Remote)

    Location: Remote (U.S. preferred)

    Time Commitment: Flexible, part-time (5–10 hours/week)

    About the Role

Hi, I’m Michael — and I’m building the early infrastructure for something I believe can make a real difference. It’s called The Father’s Alliance, and while it’s not yet a nonprofit on paper, the mission is already in motion.

Right now, I’m working toward incorporation while laying the blueprints for a platform that addresses the gaps in family law, poverty assistance, and support for parents—especially those who are typically left out of the system. I’m identifying problem areas, researching what’s broken, and designing community-based alternatives that prioritize dignity over red tape.

I’ve already launched a functioning website using React + Tailwind, and I’m actively building out content, structure, and features. What I need now is a developer who’s willing to jump in and help me bring it to life—someone who wants their code to mean something.

    What I’m Looking For:

    • Solid working knowledge of React, TypeScript, and TailwindCSS
    • Comfortable with GitHub workflows and open-source-style collaboration
    • Bonus: familiarity with Cloudflare or experience optimizing for mobile
    • Willing to work independently but communicate regularly
    • Belief in the mission—even if it's still being shaped

    What You’ll Be Helping With:

    • Site polish and performance improvements
    • Responsive layout refinements
    • Building out additional components (forms, submissions, content pages)
    • Helping translate this platform from raw concept to real impact

    Why This Matters

This isn’t a corporate gig. There’s no team, no budget, and no brand behind this yet—just one man trying to build something that can change the story for families like mine. If you’re someone who’s looking for meaningful experience, a chance to shape something early, and the freedom to experiment while doing work that matters, I’d love to hear from you.

    Let’s build something different—because what’s out there isn’t working.

Tech Stack: React · TypeScript · TailwindCSS · GitHub · Cloudflare

Remote: Yes (U.S. preferred, but open)

    Schedule: Flexible, 5–10 hrs./week

    Build Tool: Vite

    Website: thefathersalliance.org

    Location: Remote (U.S. preferred)

    Time Commitment: Flexible, part-time (5–10 hours/week)

    1. A short message introducing yourself and why this project speaks to you
    2. Any links to your GitHub, portfolio, or past work (even if it’s still in progress)
    3. Your current skill level (Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced)
    4. Preferred tools/tech you like to work with (React, Tailwind, Vite, etc.)

We’re currently developing the site using React + TypeScript + Tailwind, stored in GitHub, and deployed via Cloudflare. You’ll be working alongside a passionate founder with a clear vision — and we’re flexible about your stack as long as it fits in.

🚀 Bonus: Volunteers who demonstrate strong commitment and talent may be invited into a long-term role maintaining and improving the site as the movement scales. This could also open doors to future builds, spin-off projects, and leadership opportunities as The Father’s Alliance expands.
