    Description

🔧 Volunteer Web Developer – Help Build a Movement for Family Justice (Remote)

    Organization: The Father’s Alliance

    Location: Remote (U.S. based preferred)

    Time Commitment: Flexible hours, part-time (5–10 hrs/week)

    Type: Volunteer

Tech Stack: React · TypeScript · Tailwind · GitHub · Cloudflare

    About Us

The Father’s Alliance is not your typical nonprofit—we’re a rising force built by lived experience, born from pain, and powered by purpose. We fight for real family law reform, mental health access, and dignity for families who’ve been buried by the system.

Our current focus is Resurgence 2.0, a bold new version of our website—built to be a living, breathing hub for change. It’s already in progress using React + Tailwind + TypeScript, hosted on Cloudflare Pages and versioned in GitHub. But we need more hands to finish strong.

    What We Need

We’re looking for one or two volunteer developers who can help finish the build-out of our site. The core content is written. Visual themes and layout plans are in place. Now we need support syncing it all up and squashing bugs across pages.

You’ll work directly with our founder (a boots-on-the-ground father fighting for reform), and have room to shape structure, function, and user experience.

    Key Tasks Might Include:

    • Helping wire up navigation and routing (React Router)
    • Organizing components and layouts
    • Integrating external scripts (Zeffy, GoFundMe, Amazon KDP, etc.)
    • Ensuring mobile responsiveness and design consistency
    • Supporting Cloudflare build/deploy setup and environment configs

This Role Is For You If You:

    • Are comfortable with React, Tailwind, or GitHub workflows
    • Want to put your skills toward something that actually matters
    • Appreciate raw, real-world causes over corporate polish
    • Like building movements, not just apps

    Tech Info

You can use whatever tools, IDEs, or workflows you're comfortable with—we’re flexible. The core project repo and environment are set up at:

    GitHub: https://github.com/FukenMike/resurgence2.0

    Hosting: Cloudflare Pages

    Build Tool: Vite
