Time Commitment:
10–15 hours per week, flexible and remote. Ideal for graduate students, AI-fluent professionals, or future-oriented individuals looking to support visionary work.
Core Responsibilities:
Executive/Project Support
- Track and organize key priorities across multiple initiatives and communications
- Schedule meetings, coordinate follow-ups, maintain lightweight task tracking
- Help keep on top of task and responsibilities across various projects
Writing & Research
- Draft and refine short briefs, summaries, outreach emails, and presentation notes
- Conduct targeted research at times to provide deeper context or background information before action is taken.
- Support preparation of materials for events, roundtables, and partnerships
AI-Aware Support
- Help track AI-relevant developments that intersect with the Institute's mission
- Help explore (working with Jim) new methodologies to use to help meet the overall goals
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Exceptionally organized, reliable, and self-managing
- Strong written communication, editing, and synthesis skills
- Passion for systems thinking and societal transformation
- Proficiency or familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) – or a quick learner
- Flexible thinker with high intellectual curiosity and discretion
- Scheduling flexibility to meet once or perhaps twice a week with Jim during usual work hours (even if other work time is more flexible)
