    Description

    Administrative Volunteer: Assist office staff with office work; mailings, filing, copying, stuffing envelopes, cleaning and tearing down charts, create/update bereavement files, etc. (Office Only)

    Marketing/Fundraising Volunteer: Assist Volunteer Coordinator, Bereavement Coordinator or Liaison by helping plan and work United Hospice Service events, attend expos, health fairs, speaker’s bureau, etc. (Location can vary)

    Spiritual Volunteer: Provide spiritual support for patients/families. Such as; prayer or reading the bible. (Residence, Homecare or Facility)

    Patient Care Volunteer: Assist patient/caregiver by providing patient care and support. Such as; respite, companionship, support, household chores or any other needs when needed.

    Hospice Residence Volunteer: Assist residence staff and patients/families by providing patient care and support, maintain residence housekeeping and hospitality. (Residence Only)

    Bereavement Volunteer: Assist Bereavement Coordinator as well as Volunteer Coordinator in attending patient funeral arrangements, support groups or other special bereavement groups. (Residence, Homecare or Facility)

    Holidays/Party Volunteer: Assist Volunteer Coordinator, Bereavement Coordinator or Liaison in prepping for occasions related to United Hospice Service. Such as prepping for volunteer parties or events, set-up/take-down of holiday décor in office or residence. (Residence, Homecare or Facility)
