    Description

    We are looking for women in food science or agricultural science to volunteer with our after-school science program, where we teach girls in TK-6th grade about the wonders of science! This is a fantastic opportunity to share your expertise, inspire curiosity in young minds, and help shape the future of women in STEM.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Be present for an engaging science lesson related to food science, agriculture, and sustainability.
    • Share real-world insights from your field through hands-on activities and experiments.
    • Help young girls understand the importance of food production, sustainable agriculture, and the science behind what we eat.
    • Encourage the students to think critically about science and its impact on the world around them.

    Who We’re Looking For:

    • Women with a background in food science or agriculture science.
    • Passionate about inspiring young girls and fostering an interest in STEM.
    • Eager to share your knowledge and experiences with students.
    • No formal teaching experience required—just a desire to engage and empower the next generation of scientists!
