    1World Unite was founded in the belief that if we want change, we need to educate our children about the world...

    We set up 1World Unite three years ago as we recognised a growing need to educate young people about cultural, social and environmental issues so that they could think globally and recognise the role they have in the world so that they can forge a sustainable future where they respect people, place and planet.

    Creating awareness. Then turning it into action.

    All the resources we produce complement education and learning and have been designed to put learning in a ‘global’ context, to promote critical thinking, tolerance, self-awareness a deeper understanding of global issues and how we are all interconnected, whilst ensuring that we promote optimism and the opportunity to get involved take action to build a better world.

    Our objectives are to:

    • Empower young people through greater understanding of critical global issues so that we can effect social change that transcends the boundaries of age, gender, language and classroom
    • Become the global resource of choice for global education and play a role in shaping the curriculum of tomorrow.
    • Work in partnership with organisations worldwide to ensure that we work to meet the overall goals and objectives of the UN’s sustainable development goals.
