December is here, and the holiday season is upon us! This is a time for taking stock of things to be grateful for—and for sharing that gratitude with your loved ones. In the spirit of the season, we should also remember that it’s a time of giving. If you’re looking for ways to share your time this season, consider volunteering at one of these seven organizations. 

Change for Kids, New York, NY

Change for Kids partners with New York City schools to help children overcome educational inequity through programs that target social-emotional skills, financial literacy, and more.

Girls on the Run of Northern Virginia, Fairfax, VA

Girls on the Run helps adolescent girls through running and participating in 5k races where they learn to build healthy habits and confidence that will serve them through adulthood.

Human Health Project, Los Angeles, CA

Human Health Project’s mission is to empower people to become advocates for their own health. This is done by creating a space for information sharing among peers so people don’t feel alone in their struggles with their health.  

Charleston Hope, Charleston, SC

Charleston Hope partners with educators of Title 1 schools in the Charleston area to close the achievement gap and ensure every child has a fair chance to succeed.
