    Job Requirements and Responsibilities

    Specifically, we seek candidates who meet the following requirements:

    • A minimum of 3–5 years of direct experience working with students and/or adults with significant disabilities (required)
    • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma with 5+ years of relevant experience
    • Experience as a special education teacher, classroom aide, VR counselor, or community rehabilitation provider (strongly preferred)
    • A valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle, or access to reliable transportation to fulfill travel requirements for this work (required)
    • Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure effective communication with individuals at all levels and from diverse backgrounds
    • Comfort working independently with little supervision and interacting with a variety of stakeholders in the field
    • Basic proficiency with email, mobile devices, and digital forms
    • Proven strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
    • A commitment to confidentiality for project participants
    • Willingness and ability to be trained in data collection protocols
    • Ability to pass background checks if required by survey sites

      • Experience planning, scheduling, and coordinating logistical tasks
      • An interest in disability inclusion is strongly preferred

    Responsibilities will include:

    • Administering surveys to students and adults with significant disabilities, following standardized procedures
    • Coordinating scheduling and logistics with VR staff, school personnel, and community-based partners
    • Traveling to school or community sites to conduct in-person surveys during daytime hours
    • Maintaining accurate and confidential records of all data collected
    • Participating in training on data collection tools and procedures
    • Participating in regular check-ins with Third Sight staff
    • Reporting issues, concerns, and field observations to the project team in a timely manner
    • Supporting additional data collection activities (e.g. site visits) as needed
    • Managing aspects of projects including deadlines, project tasks, and team supports
    • Adhere to data collection and management procedures to prepare, collect, record, and input data
    • Maintain accurate records of projects that include handling data and safeguarding the confidentiality of participants as necessary
    • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
    • Project travel as required for data collection
