Hip Hop Fundamentals

We are a dynamic team of breakdancers and teaching artists who use Hip Hop as a method of empowering young people and teaching academic content. Our diverse educational programming includes assembly shows, lecture demonstrations, workshops, residencies, after-school classes and in-the-classroom partnerships with local teachers on topics ranging from Hip Hop history to basic physics to the American Civil Rights Movement. Based primarily in Philadelphia, we've received international recognition for our unique teaching philosophy, for performing hundreds of shows and workshops across the country, and for designing powerful educational experiences for all ages.
