    The New York City Department of Education (DOE) is the largest school district in the US, serving 1.1 million students in over 1,800 schools.

    The Office of District Planning (ODP), situated within Space Management under the Division of Operations, collaborates with superintendents, school communities, and other offices across the DOE to develop and implement district- and borough-based plans that aim to increase access to quality schools and programs and improve learning conditions.

    ODP prioritizes its efforts based on these four key areas to support schools in improving and providing an excellent education to all students.
