CLEI Task Force - Community Learning Enhancement Institute, Inc. (CLEI)

The Community Learning Enhancement Institute (CLEI) Task Force was initiated (2014) by the Escambia County Juvenile Justice Council as part of its agenda to promote at-risk prevention and intervention measures within Escambia County as well as the Florida Circuit 1 region. In the Disney movie, "Tomorrowland", the Hugo character stated the following:

"Have you ever wondered what would happen if all the geniuses, the artists, the scientists, the smartest, most creative people in the world decided to actually change it? Where, where could they even do such a thing? They'd need a place free from politics and bureaucracy, distractions, greed— a secret place where they could build whatever they were crazy enough to imagine."

CLEI Task Force is searching for "Tomorowland" or forward-minded, passionate, visionary people around the country who will offer their assistance and expertise to develop and implement the Community Learning Enhancement Institute, Inc. (CLEI) that will provide personal, socioemotional, academic, interest/talent, career, service-learning and educational developmental services and opportunities throughout the lifespan for eligible and qualifying individuals and families. We have conducted searches throughout our local community, but need to expand our search and send out invitations in hopes of recruiting individuals, organizations, agencies, corporate sponsors, fiscal sponsors, social philanthropists, fundraisers, a "voice" for the CLEI, a nonprofit business manager, etc. as part of the CLEI's Human Empowerment and Learning Potential (HELP) Affinity Group. The CLEI Task Force and its HELP Affinity Group are located in Pensacola, FL. The CLEI will be headquartered in Pensacola, FL.

 CLEI Mission: The mission of the CLEI is to help its clients and faculty/staff have access to critical personal, socioemotional, academic, interest/talent, career, service learning and secondary/postsecondary educational developmental growth supports and resources to achieve proactive and productive livelihoods.

The CLEI is designed as a comprehensive multidisciplinary one-stop, full-service community-based facility promoting lifespan personal, socioemotional, academic, talent, career, service learning, and educational developmental services and opportunities for eligible and qualifying children, adults and senior citizens. CLEI will provide personalized prevention and intervention measures that cultivate proactive mindsets and productive citizenry. The full-scaled model will be comprised of networked systemic and synergistic components, such as:

• Administration, Organizational Management, Support Operations
• Comprehensive Training (Professional Development), Research, Product & Process Development, Program Evaluation, and Community Outreach Services
• Comprehensive Multidisciplinary Diagnostic Evaluations and Prescriptive Learning & Opportunity Resource Services
• Comprehensive Specific Learning Disabilities, AD/HD, Aspergers, and Emotional Trauma Services
• Comprehensive Gifted and Talented Career Development Pipeline Programming Services and Opportunities
• Comprehensive At-Risk Prevention and Intervention Programming Services
• Comprehensive Senior Citizens Programming Services and Opportunities
